The Season’s Signature Gourmet Extravaganza Indulge in seven courses presented by seven of the region's most notable chefs headed by Host Chef Christopher Manning, Executive Chef of Domaine Chandon's étoile Restaurant, at Le Grand Dîner on Friday, February 29, 6 pm. Domaine Chandon and étoile Restaurant will host this season's gourmet sit down extravaganza. Each course will be paired with one of Napa Valley's finest vintages presented by the winemakers.
Assemble with fellow gourmets to indulge in seven sumptuous courses at this sixth annual sit down gourmet extravaganza returns to Domaine Chandon, its place of origin! The dinner will honor Artist of the Year Jessel Miller. The feast's line-up of chefs includes Executive Chef Christopher Manning, étoile at Domaine Chandon, Napa Valley Mustard Festival Host Chef, 2008; Executive Chef Robert Curry, Auberge du Soleil; Executive Chef/Owner Ken Frank, La Toque; Executive Chef/Partner Todd Humphries, Martini House; Executive Chef Jeff Jake, The Carneros Inn and FARM; Executive Chef Vincent Nattress, Meadowood Napa Valley, Napa Valley Mustard Festival People's Choice Chef, 2007; and Stephan L. Durfee, CHE, Pastry Chef Instructor, Culinary Institute of American, former Executive Pastry Chef, The French Laundry. Each course pairs a vintner and chef to ensure a perfect marriage of tastes. Wines by Beaulieu Vineyard, Domaine Chandon, HdV, Hyde Vineyards, Kuleto Estate, Newton Vineyards, St. Supéry Winery (2008 Napa Valley Mustard Festival Host Winery), and Honig Vineyard and Winery will be presented by the winemakers. Le Grand Dîner will include a reception featuring elegant Domaine Chandon sparkling wines, music, and a Silent Auction of collectible Napa Valley vintages exclusive to auction patrons. This exceptional one-of-a-kind event for lovers of fine food, wine, and art is limited to 120 guests at $350 per person.
