2008 World-Wide Mustard Competition Winners

Spicy, hot, savory, sweet; winning mustards are such a treat!

Coordinated by Barry Levenson, Curator of the Mt. Horeb Mustard Museum in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, and Mustard Festival producer, Summers-McCann Public Relations, the 2008 World Wide Mustard Competition had more than 400 mustards from seven countries. Entries from Canada, France, Japan, New Zealand, South Africe, Sweden, and the U.S., were judged in 19 categories by food journalists and chefs as part of the Fifteenth Annual Napa Valley Mustard Festival.

Representatives from throughout the United States and around the world attended The Awards ~ A Spicy Soirée! to receive their medals on March 14 at Black Stallion Winery in Napa.

Silver Spring Deli Style was named The Grand Champion Mustard of the 2008 World Wide Mustard Competition. Following is a complete list of winners.
